Headquartered in Garner (Raleigh Suburb), North Carolina, Effect Energy provides technical consulting and certification services for residential and commercial construction to builders, architects, developers, and homeowners in North Carolina and the surrounding areas.
Our mission is to promote and provide the best viable solutions for energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainability, servicing both residential and commercial industries.
Our Founder
After a successful career in the pharmaceutical industry, David Parker chose to pursue his passion and interests in building science, renewable energy and environmental and social stewardship. By means of good science and smart business practices, he founded Effect Energy. Leveraging his background in science and his passion for innovative technological solutions, David's goal is for Effect Energy to become an industry leader in energy management and sustainability.
Mr. Parker holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Concordia University, is a certified HERS (Home Energy Rating System) rater, an ENERGY STAR® partner, and a member of RESNET (Residential Energy Service Network).
